Debby: I would also like to have info as Grandpa was also my Grandpa! Pix would be great too! My father was Norman Wesley Downs son of Ida Mae and Clifford Lee Downs. We met (I think) Years ago at the Goll's "farm" in Hulmeville, PA. at a family reunion.

Hi Laura,
Your Dad was my grandfather's brother! I'm one of Debby Kearney's sons, and in fact we probably met many many years ago in San Diego. My Mom has been doing a lot of genealogy work and has a lot of old photos - I'm sure she would love to hear from you (debby at jkearney.com). This photo was taken by my brother Steve on a visit to Texas.

Hi Doug,
I just found your picture randomly online. I believe this is my grandfather. His son, my father, was Floyd A. Downs born in Philadelphia. How are you related?
Best,
Laura

hey Brandon, you don't say where you are, but you can find some dealer info at http://www.mzriders.com/viewforum.php?f=18

You could try Dave or Mike at SF Moto, but I'm entirely sure they are still carrying MZ parts or not...

Cool, but don't leave out the best part - riding to friends' houses with the records precariously leaning on the BMX crossbar because no backpack could hold them, having a taping party by putting an old cassette recorder up against a speaker (say goodbye to stereo) and trying not to laugh, cough, talk loud etc. during the process, and cramming as many songs as possible on a Radio Shack tape made out of iron (not ferrous oxide - actual iron!) that used to have Muppet Show audio on it and so much Liquid Paper slathered over the title it's coming off in chunks, and feeling great about sticking it to The Man.
